Be on the lookouts for sign-ups, which are released via listserv by your HOMES Representative at 12:00pm on the 20th of every month.

MiTs: Read and review the MiT Curriculum. Yes, there is a LOT of info. But this is what you will need to know to manage clinic and pass the manager quiz!
Check your email for a shift info email specific to managers and read it closely. This is essential.

Arrive based on your role. The day starts at:
7:30am for managers/MiTs
7:45am for pre-clinical students & clinical students
8:30am for health advocates
Free parking is available at the Episcopal Church parking garage on 511 San Jacinto St, Houston, TX 77002, located between Texas Av & Prairie St directly across from the Episcopal Church.
Follow the manager checklist and ensure all items are executed according to the standards in this document. This is critical to ensure patient and volunteer safety and prevent liability issues. Refer to this folder for all information, resources, and forms you may need during clinic.
MiTs: Complete your milestones for the day, have the acting manager initial it, and place it back into the filing cabinet.
The day typically ends whenever patient care has finished - usually, around 2:30pm.
